We’re waiting for word from officials at the Village Green Mall as how an incident at the mall overnight will affect business today.

Somebody drove a vehicle through the Mall’s front doors and down as far as the mall centre.

There’s no indication what exactly happened or how much damage was done or if anything was stolen.

RCMP have advised they are working on news release and will have some information as soon as possible.

No details yet on an incident at Vernon’s Village Green mall sometime overnight.

A vehicle was driven through the main front doors and well down into the mall.

Indications are it was driven as far as the mall centre new People’s Jewellers.

Neither police nor mall management have been available for comment.
