Spot Fires Burning in North Okanagan, Crew Responding

UPDATE 2:40 p.m.:

The BC Wildfire Service reports a spot fire is burning near Postill Lake, south of Vernon Creek, to the east of Okanagan Lake.

The fire is estimated to be .01 hectare in size.

The BC Wildfire Service says there is a small wildfire burning southeast of Enderby.

The fire off Ramsey Road is said to be just .01 hectare in size.

“We have a crew responding to the fire,” wildfire service spokesperson Nicole Bonnett told CJIB.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
