It appears the Easter Bunny is bringing a treat to local motorists and people visiting Vernon this long weekend….gas stations are dropping their prices.
This is a complete reversal of what local gas companies generally do on long weekends, as we’ve seen incredible jumps in pump prices to welcome holiday visitors to our area.
The price for regular gas going into the long weekend was 132.9, however a handful of stations have dropped their price to 124.9….and that list continues to grow as consumers seek out the discounted outlets for the 8 cents a litre saving.
Many calls to Beach Radio have said they don’t remember this happening, where gas prices have actually dropped in front of a long holiday weekend.
