Tween Lakes Resort Downgraded to Evacuation Alert
The Evacuation Order for 15970 Oyama Road (Tween Lakes Resort) has been downgraded to an Evacuation Alert. Due to flooding impacts on the property, the resort will remain closed to the public.
Okanagan and Kalamalka Lakes continue a slow decline. Protective measures along the lakes’ shores and the mouths of feeder creeks must be kept in place.
Okanagan Lake dropped 1.2 centimetres to 343.165 metres above sea level overnight, compared to 343.177 yesterday morning. Okanagan Lake remains at historic high water levels. Even if the lake begins to decline more rapidly, levels will not return to normal until the end of July.
Kalamalka Lake dropped 3 centimetres since Sunday to 392.338 metres above sea level Wednesday morning.
