New Owner For The Rise

A Vernon residential community has new owners.

The Rise has been sold to Vancouver-based Seacliff Properties for 20 million dollars, according to Marshall MacLeod from Colliers International.

The deal does not involve the golf course, but includes 534 acres, part of which is zoned for residential and commercial development in the Bella Vista area.

MacLeod tells Kiss FM the owners are looking at developing the project over time, and will be creating “a very exciting development.”

“They do not have immediate plans they can share, but will in the near future,” he says in an email.

The previous owners had put the property on the market last year.
