Water Main Break

Crews in Vernon are working to repair a broken water main on 27th Avenue at 43rd Street.

The break was reported Monday evening and was left overnight in a controlled state.

While some reports say its a sink hole, the city says it is not.

The westbound lane of 27 Avenue between 41 Street and 43 Street has been blocked while repairs are completed.

Drivers are asked to use 26 Avenue for travel.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 3:30 pm today.
