Allan Brooks Garage Sale A Record Breaker

The Allan Brooks Nature Centre says its Spring Mega Plant and Garage Sale this year raised a record amount of funds.

Executive Director Allan Deans says more than 18 thousand dollars was raised.

“We’re thrilled with the support from the community and hope to see the same excitement for our upcoming Raptor weeks returning to Allan Brooks in July and August.”

Deans offered thanks to all those people that donated, delivered, stored and purchased items.

The staff and Board members would especially like to extend gratitude to all volunteers without which this fundraiser would not happen.

Deans also points sponsors of the event, Kal Tire, Nixon Wenger, Elephant Storage Trunks, Sun Country Cycle, Vantage One Credit Union, Royal LePage, Silver Star Mountain Resort, Fix Auto, Wayside, and Century 21 Executives.
