Water Surrounds Mobile Home Park

Several waterfront properties on the west side of Okanagan Lake are the latest to be forced out of their homes by high water.

The Central Okanagan Regional District has issued Evacuation Orders for four homes in the 94-hundred block of Hodges Road and one on Kilkenny Place in the Killiney Beach area.

The rain today has also created growing concerns for the Holiday mobile home park near Kin Beach in Vernon, with the water from a backed up creek coming closer to eight homes that were in danger of flooding, leading to increased sandbagging today.
