Man’s Body Recovered

RCMP say the remains of a Shuswap man missing since early May after a mudslide, have been found.

Salmon Arm RCMP say the body of Roy Sharp was recovered Wednesday in the mudslide area on Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road.

The 75 year old went missing May 5th after his home was hit by the slide.

The BC Coroners Service is investigating his death.

“The Salmon Arm RCMP continues to provide support to Mr Sharps family and continues to assist the BC Coroners Service with their investigation into his death,” says an RCMP release.
