Update: Downed Line Cuts Power

Update 3:30 pm:

BC Hydro says power has been restored to all but 295 customers south of Okanagan Ave in Vernon and Coldstream.

Power is out for about 1,640 customers in Coldsrtream, Lake Country and a part of Vernon.

BC Hydro says its due to a downed power line on Clerke Road, across from Okanagan College.

The college is one of the sites believed to be impacted.

There is no estimated time for power to be restored.
