Worker Taken to Hospital

Emergency personnel were called to a construction site on 20th Street in Vernon in the area behind Walmart this morning.

WorkSafe BC tells Kiss FM, one of their officers visited the site after a worker was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.

“We cannot confirm if the injury was work-related at this time,” says Erica Simpson, government and media relations officer for WorkSafe BC.
