Fire at Coldstream Ranch

Reports from the scene indicate the fire appears to be under control.

Fire crews are battling a fire in a sawdust pile at the Coldstream Ranch on Highway 6.

Reports say the pile is “fully engulfed.”

Coldstream was the responding department, and other water tenders from Lumby, Lavington and BX-Swan Lake have been called in to assist.

Coldstream also responded to the ranch May 15 for a fire in a loader, and another one in a shavings pile about 100 meters away.
