Long overdue beautiful weather combined with a long weekend has resulted in numerous calls to Vernon Fire rescue.
Captain Doug Imrich told KISS-FM News, yesterday saw them attend to a couple of accidents involving vehicles.
One, a motorcycle failed to negotiate the southbound turn at the corner of 48th. Ave and 32 nd. St. The female rider ended up over the bank and in a water filled ditch. She did not sustain any serious injuries.
The second involved a single vehicle rollover on Silver Star Road. The injuries were minor in that incident and has been turned over to the RCMP.
