New Owners For Log Barn

Jan 24, 2017 | 5:15 PM

There are new owners for the Log Barn 1912 in Spallumcheen.

The tourism-related business along Highway 97A has been acquired by a Vancouver based company.

A news release from the business broker involved in the deal says the new owners plan to build the business, and improve its community involvement

They say the previous owners struggled to manage the growth due to a lack of capital.

“The new owners are well capitalized to take the Log Barn 1912 to a whole new level, and provide an even greater pleasurable experience to its patrons,” says Pino Bacinello of Pacific M&A and Business Brokers.

Bacinello says the store’s objective will be to provide superior quality and unique products to not only tourists, but also to local markets.

“The new owners will continue to provide employment and job opportunities for the Spallumcheen and neighboring areas.”

The Township of Spallumcheen put a notice on title on the business last year for expanding without the proper permits.
