Body found in Mission Creek Greenway, no criminality suspected

The body of a deceased woman was located in Mission Creek Greenway Thursday afternoon.

Kelowna RCMP were called to the Mission Creek Park and Mission Creek Greenway area at around 3:10 p.m., Thursday, after the body was discovered by bystanders.

Investigations by the RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service found no evidence to suggest any criminality was involved in the woman’s death.

The RCMP offer condolences and support to the family and friends of the woman, stating no further details will be released out of respect for privacy of the deceased and her family.
