Party On The Mountain To Showcase Gondola

Silver Star Mountain Resort is celebrating the grand opening of its new gondola Saturday with a party that includes free gondola rides and a free BBQ.

 

Everyone is invited to attend the ‘Beach Party on the Mountain’, said the resort’s communications liaison Wesla Wong.

 

“It’s going to be a family-friendly event with lots of kids activities,” said Wong.

 

The party kicks off at 11 a.m.

People are urged to dress in beach attire.

There will be a kid’s waterslide and a beach volleyball court as well as a beverage garden.

The free gondola rides run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

“It’s a gondola that takes up to eight passengers up to the top of the summit,” said Wong. “It really does open the door for almost anyone to come up to the mountain and enjoy the scenic views from the top and the fresh air.”
