Tim’s Camp Day Gets Good Turnout
Another successful Tim Horton’s Camp Day in the Vernon, Armstrong and Enderby area yesterday.
Proceeds from coffee and bracelet sales at the eight Tim’s outlets yesterday are used to send children from low income families to summer camps.
Local owner Dan Currie says the restaurants in the region raised $21,500.
“So all this money gets sent to head office and they distribute the monies to the seven different camps and then we send approximately 16 kids to the camps for each area.”
