Rental Housing Announcement For Vernon

Vernon could be in line for more provincial funding.

Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Selina Robinson will hold a news conference at the Vernon Lodge Thursday afternoon for an affordable rental housing announcement.

The minister will be joined by the Vancouver Resource Society and the City of Vernon.

Robinson was in Vernon last fall to announce 11 million dollars in provincial funding for a new modular housing project, and a new modular shelter for the city.
