New BC Transit Fares and Service Improvements in Vernon

A number of changes to the Vernon Regional Transit system took effect on April 1.

The changes include a new high-frequency route to the North end-WalMart area, along with later service on weeknights for the Alexis Park, South Vernon, Okanagan Landing and Bella Vista routes.

A new Saturday service has been added to the UBCO Connector.

The new fare system has all routes at $2.50 for everyone, except for the UBCO Connector which is five dollars.
