Detour In Downtown

Update:

Work on the intersection of 30th Street and 32nd Avenue near the Greyhound bus station started this morning.

The project to upgrade the road and utilities will keep that area closed until April 30th, with a detour route in effect.

CGL Contracting Ltd. is the contractor working on site, with traffic control provided by Ansan.

Motorists can expect a detour in downtown Vernon, which started today, and will last some time.

The City says the intersection of 30th Street and 32nd Avenue will be closed for several weeks, to complete road and utility work.

Businesses in the construction area will be accessible during construction.
