Suspicious House Fire

Police are investigating what they call a suspicious fire in Armstrong this morning.

The Armstrong Fire Department put out the blaze at a home on Warner Avenue around 2:30 am, with damage to a garage door and some vinyl siding at the front.

“The fire was deemed suspicious at the time because of the location of the fire and some unknown material found at the base of the garage door,” says RCMP Cst. Kelly. Brett. It was fortunate the fire was quickly put out and no one suffered any personal injuries as a result.”
