Record Snowfall at Resort

SilverStar Mountain Resort has recorded its largest snowfall in 68 years.

Oscar Gordon, media and marketing manager, says the 280 centimetres this season is the most snow since measurements began in 1950.

Gordon says the resort has been inundated with locals and guests taking advantage of the conditions.

“There is no doubt this has been a very special season” says Gordon. “You can barely see the tops of light posts and street signs poking out of glacial snowbanks.”
