New Logo For RDNO

The RDNO has freshened up its logo.

Board Chair Bob Fleming says the change was prompted by the decision to upgrade the District’s boardroom.

The new logo takes away the coat of arms appearance but maintains the natural elements of the region.

“You still got a sun in there, a stylized sun. You still got the same elements that were in there before. But the other key thing was that the colour scheme changed a bit. That’s the colour scheme we’ve been using on our website and other materials.”

The logo shows the sun linking the elements of boating, agriculture, the outdoors and fruit growing.

Bob Fleming says the rebranding has been in the works for some time with the plan to be in place when the new boardroom is ready.

“And we are going to have the logo somewhere which will probably be in the lobby rather than just go with the traditional coat of arms logo.”

The boardroom renovation is expected to be finished in time for the board’s March 7th meeting.
