Expansion Nod For NOYFSS

A non-profit organization has received Vernon council’s approval to expand its building downtown.

Mayor Akbal Mund says the North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society on 32nd Ave. was granted several variances.

“We approved the variances we were presented with, and the amendments, so they will be able to expand the building as they need,” Mund tells Beach Radio News.

NOYFSS is adding onto the northeast corner of its site, with a new education room, office space, kitchen and washroom.
