Highway Mess With Snow And Ice

Road conditions around Vernon and on the highways in  and out of town are not good this morning because of the snowfall into the night and the cold temperatures.

You will find icy conditions throughout.

Highway 97 in particular is in rough shape.

South the Vernon, vehicles, especially semi trailer rigs are having trouble getting up Hospital Hill and the Highway to Oyama is treacherous. with some vehicles off the road.
