Councillor, Ranch Manager Injured
A local politician is in hospital in Vancouver with what are said to be serious injuries.
Glen Taylor is a councillor in Coldstream, and also the manager of the O’Keefe Ranch.
Coldstream mayor Jim Garlick has been told Taylor was injured while at work.
“I guess he got a head and back injury. That’s what I get from it. He is in the hospital in Vancouver. He was doing some work at the O’Keefe Ranch and a barrel was involved. He was struck by a barrel while carrying it on a tractor,” says Garlick who got the information from councillor Peter McLean who spoke with Taylor.

The incident happened last week.
Garlick has been told Taylor could be facing recovery time of a year or longer.
“He’s injured fairly badly, and from councillor McLean, what I heard, is he’s looking at up to 18 months for recovery.”
Garlick says council will send Taylor best wishes on his recovery.
Kiss FM contacted the O’Keefe Ranch but staff there was not commenting on the incident to its manager.
