Cycling Improvements Cited For Okanagan Landing

A Vernon councillor says improved cycling facilities in Okanagan Landing should be more of a priority for the city.

“I had asked what the timing was for getting a proper bike path out to Eastside Road because that seems to be the busiest areas that I see cyclists,” says Brian Quiring.

Quiring says he is disappointed that project is still ten years or more away in the city’s plan.

“The road is in terrible condition and there’s many blind corners.It’s dangerous, and needs wider shoulders,” he tells Kiss FM.
