Rail Trail Construction Starts In Coldstream

Part of the Okanagan Rail Trail will be closed to the public starting today.

It’s for the first phase of construction in the north zone.

The regional district says the trail will be closed 1 km south of Kickwillie Loop in Coldstream for an indefinite period to allow for rock scaling, trail construction and development.

The public is asked to stay completely off the closed section for their own safety
