Slippery on the Connector Right Now

Drive BC says to be cautious of conditions on the Okanagan Connector.

Motorists can expect compact snow with slippery sections from the junction with Highway 5A, at Aspen Grove to the Pennask Summit, and from the summit to Brenda Mine Road exit.

Some vehicles have been caught by surprise with the road conditions, including a pickup that slipped off the road and overturned Saturday night.

There were no injuries to the driver, but emergency vehicles had to deal with the truck.
