‘Get basics right’: West Kelowna council candidate

One of the four incumbents running for West Kelowna City Council this month says a strong city is built by listening, planning carefully and getting the basics right.

Garrett Millsap lists key wins from the last four years as 30 kms of roads paved, 172 new childcare spaces, and six additional RCMP officers.

Millsap’s campaign priorities include police, fire and bylaw; calling for more infrastructure resources from the federal and provincial levels of government (larger police station for more police on the streets); and fiscal responsibility including more transparency, and capital projects must be on time and on budget (establishing a capital project delivery model).
