A local lawyer and business owner is taking a second crack at getting on Kelowna city council and tackling crime is among his top priorities.

Bal Grewal, who ran in 2022, said public safety and street order are non-negotiable.

“We must be tough on crime while championing involuntary medical care for individuals suffering severe mental health crises on our streets,” he said on his campaign website. ” Every resident and business owner deserves to feel safe walking downtown, visiting parks, and opening their shop doors. “
