Vernon rec’s pool to temporarily close for maintenance as ALC construction progresses

Vernon’s indoor pool will be closed for three days of maintenance in early September.

The city said the pool at the Vernon Recreation Centre would be closed Sept. 8, 9 and 10 for planned repairs and maintenance work.

The closure would not impact other non-aquatic recreation programs or services, and active pool passes would be extended to account for the closure.

Additionally, the city stated construction of the Active Living Centre (ALC) was making progress.
