Canoe Police Involved Shooting Goes To Crown

Crown Counsel now has the file on the shooting of an armed robbery suspect in Canoe near Salmon Arm two years ago.

The Independent Investigations Office says in a release, it has submitted a report to Crown for consideration of charges against the officer involved.

Police responded July 3rd, 2015 to reports of a gas station robbery near Sicamous.

A suspect was tracked down by a police dog and the shooting took place during an altercation with two different officers.
