Southern Interior housing market holding steady

The housing market across the Southern Interior remains steady heading into summer.

The Association of Interior REALTORS® says residential sales in May were up from April and nearly identical to the same time last year.

In the Central Okanagan, the benchmark price for a single-family home edged up point-six per cent from a year ago to just over one million dollars.

“Overall real estate activity across the Interior continues at a healthy and sustainable pace,” says Association of Interior REALTORS® President Ryan Mayne.
