Kelowna RCMP seize SUV, gun and break-in tools

Kelowna RCMP say two separate Target Team investigations led to the arrest of a prolific shoplifting suspect and a man allegedly connected to a stolen SUV in Lake Country.

Police say a female suspect was arrested April 30th following a series of shoplifting incidents, while officers later recovered a stolen SUV and arrested Michael Dennison.

Mounties say cash, suspected drugs, and a replica firearm were seized during the SUV investigation.

Dennison faces several charges, including possession of stolen property and driving while disqualified.

“Collaboration between Kelowna Detachment support units and investigative teams is essential to advancing investigations,” says Corporal Steven Lang in a media release.

RCMP say the Target Team continues focusing on repeat property crime offenders across Kelowna.
