Carter Work Week At Vernon Habitat House
The chairperson for Habitat for Humanity in the North Okanagan sends her thoughts to former U-S President Jimmy Carter today.
Carter was treated for dehydration while working on a Habitat house in Winnipeg this morning.
Glory Westwell says this is Carter Work Week,with Carter in Canada to help celebrate the country’s 150th birthday.
“We really want this to be a big thing for Canada with the 150 build for our birthday, also for him because he’s made the big effort to come to Canada and be part of our birthday.”
