Suspected Thief Held After Stolen Vehicles Crash

A man in his 30’s is in custody in Vernon after two stolen vehicles crashed last evening.
‘
RCMP were called to the 9000 block of Tronson Road around 7 pm to a report of the crash of a small car.

Police say that had been stolen.

The driver then jumped into a five ton truck that was nearby and left running..

He lost control of that on the windy road and that vehicle wound up on its side.

The suspect was still in the truck when police arrived.
