Vernon Kia dealership fire ‘suspicious’: RCMP

Police are treating the fire at the Vernon Kia dealership as a criminal case.
The fire broke out at the dealership on Highway 97 at approximately 2 a.m. December 3 and fully engulfed three vehicles, while also significantly damaging five others.
“The cause remains undetermined but is considered suspicious in nature and remains under investigation,” Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said in an email to Vernon Matters.
No further information on the case was provided as it remained open as of time of publication.
