Reflecting on year of growth

A message from West Kelowna mayor

West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom says 2025 was a year of progress, collaboration, and major community investment as the city continued to grow.

“As we close out 2025, it is important to reflect on a year of tremendous progress, collaboration, and investment for our community as we continue to build a bright future for the City of West Kelowna,” Milsom said in a media release.

Highlights included the opening of Fire Station 32 and the Lakeview Heights Community Hall, major road improvements at Butt Road and Old Okanagan Highway, and continued investments in public safety, community services, and arts and culture.

“Looking ahead to 2026, I remain committed to leading with integrity through to the end of this Council term,” Milsom said.
