Gas station grand opening supports OKIB youth

A gas station that has opened on the Okanagan Indian Band land used its grand opening to support local youth.
The new Canco station opened at 11341 Westside Road, between Mini Shadow and Imtil Roads, on October 3.
On that day, the station collected one cent from every litre sold between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., resulting in the station raising $300 that was then donated to the OKIB Youth Program.
Canco said the new location was built out through a five year partnership between the Louis family and the franchisee, Reg Rempel.
