Gregg Zaun to head Kelowna Falcons
A star name will head the coaching line up for the Kelowna Falcons next season.
The club has announced former Major League Baseball catcher Gregg Zaun has been named the new head coach for 2026.
“I’m very excited for this opportunity that the Nonis Family has given me to lead the Falcons,” Zaun in a n announcement on the Falcons website. “The Falcons fans are going to see a very exciting brand of baseball at Elks Stadium next summer. We will put in the work, play with a high level of energy and give our fans a lot to cheer about.”
Zaun played over 1,200 games in the Major Leagues from 1995-2010, suiting up for the Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers and won a World Series with the Florida Marlins in 1997.
