Two youths arrested after vehicles vandalized in Kelowna’s Landmark neighbourhood
Kelowna RCMP have arrested two youths in connection with a series of vehicle vandalism incidents that took place in the Landmark district over the weekend.
Police said the incidents occurred on Saturday night, September 20, between 9 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. A total of seven vehicles were reportedly damaged during the span of the two-hour period.
RCMP spokespersons confirmed that the suspects, both minors, have been taken into custody. Due to their age, authorities are not releasing further information about the youths, including their identities or the circumstances leading to their arrests.
“The Kelowna RCMP are actively investigating these incidents and are working to determine all the facts surrounding this case,” said a spokesperson in an email to Capital News. “Due to the age of the suspects, we cannot provide further details at this time.”
