Kelowna International Airport adds more flights this winter
Kelowna International Airport is expanding its network this winter, offering travellers more direct flight options than ever. Airlines added over 2,000 flights in 2025, increasing YLW service by 16 per cent and reflecting the airport’s ongoing commitment to connecting the Okanagan with destinations across Canada and beyond.
Porter Airlines continues its Kelowna-Toronto service throughout the winter, boosting Toronto capacity by 31 per cent. Pacific Coastal also expanded its intra-B.C. flights by 32 per cent, while service to Mexico increased by 26 per cent. Puerto Vallarta flights now run four times a week, Cancun six times, and Los Cabos twice weekly.
Domestic connections have grown as well. Kelowna-Vancouver flights now operate up to 99 times per week, Kelowna-Calgary 66, and Kelowna-Edmonton 27. Seasonal service to popular sun destinations is back, with WestJet and Alaska Airlines offering flights to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Mazatlán, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas.
YLW operates as the ninth busiest airport in Canada, offering domestic and international service through eight airlines to 22 destinations. The airport’s low-cost business model supports air service development and aims to provide travellers with more choice and convenience.
