Celebrating 50 years of NONA in Vernon

NONA is celebrating 50 years of service in the North Okanagan with a community barbecue and the opening of a fully accessible playground early next month.

The event is set for Friday, Oct. 3, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at NONA on 34th St. in Vernon.

The playground was made possible through donors and local business support.

NONA provides programs for more than 800 families each year who are raising children with developmental challenges.
