Bella Vista area house destroyed in fire

A house was in Vernon’s Bella Vista area was destroyed in a recent fire.

Vernon Fire Rescue Services (VFRS) responded to a report of a structure fire on Bella Vista Road around 2 a.m. Saturday, June 28.

The firefighters came across a home where flames had engulfed the main floor and were spreading to the roof.

VFRS, with assistance from BX/Swan Lake fire crews, knocked down the fire, but not before significant damage was done to the home.
