Silent auction to support J.W. Inglis Elementary

A silent auction will be held to support the elementary school in Lumby.

As part of Lumby Days, the Parent Advisory Council will host a silent auction to support J.W. Inglis Elementary, and has asked for donations to be auctioned off.

The PAC said it would accept donations of items big and small, such as gift baskets, gift cards, handmade items, artwork, and services.

Silent auctions in past years went to support numerous projects that included installing multimedia screens in classrooms; setting up a kitchen; funding field trips, swimming and ice skating lessons; installing new playground equipment; putting down new asphalt on the basketball court; and funding literacy programs.
