The annual event that sees cyclists get on their bikes to support youth mental health services will run in the summer.

The Vernon and District branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA Vernon) will host its Ride Don’t Hide fundraiser June 8 at Creekside Park in Coldstream.

“So many people look forward to Ride Don’t Hide and it has become a tradition in our community,” said Julia Payson, CMHA Vernon & District executive director.

“We are so grateful to see our friends and neighbours come out and rally behind much-needed mental health services for youth and families.”

There will be five routes that participants can follow from the park that range from 2.6 to 32 kilometres.

Participants will cycle to raise fund for youth mental health services in the North Okanagan , and the Galbraith Family Foundation will provide matching funds.

People can register for the ride at the CMHA Vernon website.
