Local Mounties seized drugs and other items in a search of a Vernon residence last month.

As part of a drug trafficking case, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3200-block of 25th Avenue on October 22.

The search led to police finding and confiscating a quantity of suspected cocaine, cash, ammunition, and imitation firearms.

“This seizure is the result of some great proactive work by our frontline officers,” Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, stated.

“It directly supports our strategic priority of targeting and disrupting criminal activity in our communities.”
