Vernon’s RV Sani-dump open

People travelling through Vernon have a site to dispose of their waste.

The City of Vernon opened the RV sani-dump station Friday, April 4.

The sani-dump, located at 6401 Tronson Rd. across from the Vernon Regional Airport, has four waste dumping stations and water filling points. It has space to accommodate up to 14 recreational vehicles at a time. It costs $4 to use the facility, which can be paid in cash at the deposit box or through the Hotspot app.

The city reminds the public that the water filling stations are for RV use only, and filling 1,000L totes is not permitted.

The sani-dump station can only be accessed from the east end and people are advised to approach the site in that direction to minimize traffic disruption.
