Charges approved in New Year’s Day break and enter

A Quebec man has been charged in connection with a break and enter in Kelowna.

The incident allegedly occurred at a residence in the 38-hundred block of Gordon Drive on New Year’s Day.

The RCMP said the B.C. Prosecution Service have approved charges of break and enter with the intent to commit an offence and for forcible entry.

The suspect remained in police custody.
